Admission Procedure to Model Schools
Basic information and instructions for the admission process in the Model and Experimental Second and High Schools
Information
The admission of students to the model schools in the first grade of secondary education, is done through exams conducted every year (June 20-30), under the supervision of the Department of Education (Steering Committee of Model and Experimental Schools). Through this test, children are assessed on the knowledge they acquired during their primary school, related to the comprehension of Greek language texts and Mathematics. The procedure for admission to the model High Schools is similar.
Courses and Exams
In the Understanding of Greek Language Texts, the abilities of the students / three in the comprehension of written texts of various genres (literary texts, newspaper or magazine articles, etc.) as well as in the use of grammatical and syntactic phenomena are tested. In Mathematics, the abilities of students / three in understanding and solving problems and exercises are tested, based on everything that has been taught in elementary / second school.
