History 2nd Grade High School (Preparation of the 3rd Grade High School)

The course of history of orientation of humanities studies of the high school (nationally examined course) teaches in four sections situations critical and important for the Greek world economy, politics, refugees and diplomacy. Each chapter examines a series of topics that have occupied our history for the last two centuries. In addition to the understanding and study of historical events, parallel sources are taught that complete the course and complete the nationwide examination process.

Course goal

• To understand the events of the modern Greek world of the 19th and 20th century
• To know the content of historical terms and concepts, necessary for the deeper and systematic study of each section
• Be able to cope with any kind of source (text or image) and be able to consider what converges and deviates from any historical event
